This was a head study of actor james whitmore.

I started the project last week and finished a few days ago. The actor passed away yesterday so i thought id post into the main gallery for you to see.

He died of lung cancer at the age of 87

An elderly man sits quietly on the morning subway. I wanted to capture the mood through his expression and the use of compositing. It was also a character modelling and shading exercise to improve my skills for future projects.
